In our never ending quest to make cattle more efficient, more maternal, more muscled, and more profitable we have decided to look back so that we may jump ahead. It really is funny that after the mess that was the late 70's and 80's where cattle got big, ugly, and just about all profitable traits were lost we can get lucky and find some genetics that still are more than relevant in today's market. You have to appreciate the extreme depth and total mass of FS Improver's Plus. His first calf crop out in the Flint Hills of Kansas at SBS Shorthorns and Elbee Farms is evidence enough to convince me that this son will produce like his sire!
